Key tasks
- Maintain and actively manage current office systems and procedures
- Daily office administration duties to include, communications (email, phone etc), responding to requests for information, preparing documents, recording minutes, photocopying, printing, filing, sourcing products and quotes
- Maintain Health and Safety system in place and ensure Health and Safety Procedures are adhered to in the workplace
- Maintain training programme and coordinate training as required
- Maintain and update company policies and procedures
- Administration support for Director and Accounts Manager as required
Essential:
- Have a good working knowledge of computers and software including Microsoft packages and Excel
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Have good literacy and numeracy skills and experience of working with accounts
- Have the ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative
- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the work within the company
Desirable:
- Experience of financial recording, reporting and accounting
- Experience in Health and Safety
- Experience in engineering sector or related field
- Experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of Employment Law
- Occupational First Aider
