We are seeking a full time employee for our busy client dairy farm in North Tipperary.  This is a large milking herd of 300 cows, with stock being a mixture of Friesian Holstein & Jersey cross cows.  The farm is mainly a spring calving herd with most of the herd calving in a short period of time in the Spring. So a busy spring can be expected for the correct candidate.  Most of the work involved is cow care and management, with about 80% of the role being involved with the cows and 20% involved with machinery where needed. Machinery on farm that will be available for use if the correct candidate is competent enough, will be - tractor, telehandler, bale handler, mower, diet feeder & spreader.  There is accommodation available if needed on the farm.  If you would like further information, please be in contact with david.taylor@icds.ie .
