Financial Controller. Our client, a major US manufacturing multinational headquartered in the Limerick region have now engaged with Cpl to to hire an experienced Financial Controller who will lead the plant based financial operations. The Job : Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for manufacturing operations in Ireland & act as a key part of the global finance team. You will cover duties including leading the plant operations finance team, plan & deliver financial strategies, lead the monthly/annual close processes, prepare external submissions (eg IDA grants, R&D tax credit), liaise with external statutory bodies & manage costs across the business. You will also lead financial process improvement projects, analyse cost/business trends & opportunities & act as a key partner to colleagues in manufacturing/operations management. Your Skills/Experience that we need : 3rd level degree qualified. Fully qualified accountant. 3-4+ years experience in a FC or FM role within a multinational or large scale manufacturing environment. Excellent IT skills including proven experience in utilising ERP systems - SAP preferred. Excellent attention to detail & inter-personal as well as influencing skills. The Offer : This position is being offered on a permanent basis with salary negotiable depending on candidate skills & experience but will be at a significant level to reflect the seniority/responsibilities of the role & status of the organisation. In addition there is a strong full benefits package & bonus structure. This role will be hybrid with approx. 2 days expected onsite with 3 days WFH/remote so could certainly suit candidates outside the traditional commuting distance of Limerick city. ***Candidates must hold a valid work permit/visa or EU citizenship to be considered.
