A Project Electrician is required by CareerWise Recruitment to work with a Thurles, Co. Tipperary based Food Manufacturing Company on a permanent contract. THE ROLE: * Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems. * Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems. * Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.) * Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components. * Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them. REQUIREMENTS: * Electrical Trade Qualification with a minimum of 3 years' experience. * Normal eyesight and colour vision are essential and the candidate must have a safety- conscious attitude and be able to work at heights. * Have experience of electrical cable joint and terminations, fault finding and a proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair. * Strong people delegation skills. * Ability to manage budget and spend.
