A Maintenance Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment to work with a Tipperary based Meat Processing Company on a Permanent contract. THE ROLE: * Carry out planned/unplanned maintenance on packaging, production and utilities equipment. * Maintenance, overhaul, adjustment and modification of all plant and production equipment. * Fabrication of new and replacement equipment. * Trouble shooting and continuous improvement initiatives. * Shift Role - 4 day cycle. REQUIREMENTS: * Good knowledge of the Mechanical and Electrical Systems associated with high volume manufacturing equipment. * Experience with calibration of equipment. * Strong technical understanding of set up and maintenance of manufacturing processes. * Experience in validation, equipment design and Lean Manufacturing. * A good knowledge of the regulatory environment in which the business operates. * 2-3 years' experience in similar role in Food Manufacturing.
