About Your New Employer. This medical devices leader has 1,000 employees working on site and in 2020 they reached a significant milestone, impacting over two million patients worldwide with devices manufactured at this site.  Currently working on a next generation product related to capital equipment which is exclusive to them and first of its kind in the medical devices field. They manufacture & distribute medical devices including; pacemakers and defibrillators for cardiac rhythm conditions such as sudden cardiac death and atrial fibrillation, deep brain simulators for movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease and spinal cord simulators for chronic pain.  About Your New Job. You will asses process capabilities, prioritize process improvement opportunities, and innovate and implement process improvements on platform or derivative projects. You will working as part of the Process Development group. You will aid design of new equipment for new products & manufacturing. You will play a key role in the design phase of the equipment from initialisation to final handover. Working closely with machine Vendors in order to ensure that the equipment is designed, built & tested  Providing technical leadership on product and process issues. Working as part of the Process Engineering group this person will aid design of new equipment for new products & manufacturing. You would be required to take a lead role in the design phase of the equipment from initialisation to final handover. Executing the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems. Writing and reviewing validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes. What Skills You Need. Level 8 degree qualification in relevant engineering discipline. 2+ years experience in a similar environment. Experience with working with Laser Systems & Laser materials processing (Welding, Marking, Cutting, etc) an advantage. Knowledge in CNC code or CADCAM would be beneficial. What’s on Offer.
