SENIOR SPECIALIST - BUSINESS & TECHNICAL ANALYSIS required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational Pharmaceutical client at their facility in Co. Tipperary. The SENIOR SPECIALIST - BUSINESS & TECHNICAL ANALYSIS will provide technical leadership and guidance on assigned systems/applications in support of site business processes, and to IT staff in their roles and to other personnel working on IT projects. THE ROLE: * Be an IT business partner, and a business and technical representative providing oversight on projects. * Provide customer assistance to the site for IT products, services and applications on both new and existing systems including resolving, reporting and escalating associated problems. * Partner with stakeholders to produce, review or approve business and technical requirements and cost estimates, to select computerised systems meeting business/compliance/security/value requirements and develop, review or approve project plans. * Complete software development lifecycle documentation such as requirements specifications, security and privacy risk and gap assessments. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other IT guidelines. * Carry out testing / validation activities on assigned IT projects. * Oversee on-site change control procedures and participate in change activities as assigned. Attend divisional change control and system performance review meetings. Convey to stakeholders any site or divisional planned changes that may affect site systems. * Liaise with IT and Technical Services groups to ensure the appropriate site input in key divisional initiatives. Answer any divisional data and audit requests. * Identify, evaluate & implement innovation opportunities and assist site initiatives regarding continuous improvement of IT systems and departmental business processes. * Develop & test Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity plans for assigned systems/applications. * Develop a network with peers on other sites to share experience & best practice. * Be a point of contact and direction for IT & Automation, project teams, business users and global teams on Data and Configuration Management, SDLC, IT Security, Asset Life Cycle Management. * Assist Site IT Lead to deliver site Digital Programme. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree qualification (Science, Engineering, Technical. * Strong ability to translate business needs to technical requirements, and to impart IT concepts to non-technical personnel. * Practice in Agile Methodology and Continuous Improvement and with a Digital and Innovative mindset. * Hands-on experience and understanding of automated systems assisting manufacturing, corporate IT systems, IT infrastructure and/or laboratory operations. * At least five years of experience in delivering and/or supporting regulated IT, automation and/or laboratory systems. * Knowledge and hands-on experience with relevant industry standards for system validation such as GAMP5. * Knowledge of current and relevant security standards for manufacturing and corporate systems. * Experience in software development life-cycle delivery, project and change management. * Experience with data analytics and reporting tools. * Strong alliance and communication skills. * Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
