Hartley People are looking for an ambitious Compliance and Specifications Manager with strong customer relation skills and a drive for compliance to join our Client’s team in Tipperary.   Responsibilities: Product specification generation in line with customer requirements. Maintaining specification and technical information up to date in the database. Approval of product case labels, artwork, declarations etc. in line with customer specific requirements & relevant legislation. Co-ordinate the physical verification of approved packaging / artwork / labelling pre FPR. Provision of technical information to Sales & Marketing as requested. Supplier approval – responsible for maintaining approved supplier list & supporting documentation. Active participation in handling of customer & 3rd party audits, visits etc. Support for Mass Balance / Traceability exercises as required. Support for customer complaint investigation as required. Support of Lean programs.   Requirements: Diploma in a food discipline or B.Sc. in science discipline. Ideally 3 to 5 years QA/QC experience in a Food Manufacturing environment. 1 year experience in a relevant role involving specification writing and legal label sign off. Familiarity with the requirements of online specification retailer systems would be a significant advantage. Be self-motivated and have the ability to work on one’s own initiative. Be a keen team player. Have good communication skills (verbal & written. Have basic computer literacy. Have an aptitude for problem solving. Have an aptitude for informed decision making.
