Job Responsibilities: • Build and operate Kubernetes on-prem and cloud as a service to DevOps teams. • Analysis of complex processes and technologically heterogenic applications. • Design and creation of technical solutions. • Operational responsibilities include 3rd level production support and on-call duty rota. • Stay up to date on technology trends, direction and innovation related to business process and technology areas of focus for the position. • Technical project management of small interdisciplinary teams in order to deliver a set goal. Requirements: • Degree in computer science or equivalent. • 3-5 year experience with complex distributed application architecture and DevOps. • Very good knowledge preferably in several following technologies:  • AWS Cloud and Cloud Orchestration Tools (Terraform, etc.) • Containerization Docker / Kubernetes (Vanilla K8s, Openshift. • Container Registries: Harbor, ECR. • Traffic Control in Kubernetes: ServiceMesh( e.g. Istio), Calico Network Overlay etc. • Salt, Linux Shell-Scripts. • Runtime-, Build und Deployment-Toolstack. CI/CD, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven. • Basic understanding of Load Balancing, Certificates, API Gateway. • JIRA, Confluence.
