Area Manager - Midlands. Excel Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit an experienced and accomplished Area Manager to join our global grocery retail chain client. This position is based in the midlands. This is a truly exciting opportunity for an Area Manager to join a large retailer that has shown continuous growth in the Irish retail market in recent years. The successful candidate will posses a third level qualification and hold extensive area management experience within a fast-paced, high-volume retailer or large hospitality business. This Area Manager position comes with a wonderful salary starting from €65k, as well as a fully expensed company car. A company pension plan is also available following 6 months service. The requirements for this Area Manager job in midlands include: Area Management experience is essential. A full clean driving licence & at least 2.1 third level degree. Experience managing large teams. Business acumen & knowledge of the grocery retail sector. A proven track record in achieving sales and targets. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume retail environment. Exceptional organisational and communication skills. Responsibilities of this Area Manager job include: Developing and training a strong leadership team. Monitoring and controlling operational costs within the business.
