A Business Unit Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Tipperary based Food Manufacturing Client. THE ROLE: * To act as a key member of the Operations team taking full responsibility of the Business Unit. * Achieving the production plan. * Meeting order demand from a planning and raw materials order perspective. * Ensuring compliance with Quality & Health and Safety requirements. * Identifying, leading and implementing continuous improvement opportunities. * Leading, managing and developing the production team. * Strong knowledge of Food Safety. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree or post-graduate qualification in Food sciences or Engineering. * Experience in a manufacturing environment, having a structured approach to implementing improvements. * Previous experience in the management of Personnel. * Demonstrated track record in the delivery of goals and improvements.
