Hartley People are currently seeking an experienced Accountant for a great new role with a Tipperary based engineering company.  The company in question has fantastic career opportunities stemming from the creation of new revenue streams as well as multile overseas projects and an innovative culture to assist in the growth of the business.  The Person:   ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, qualified. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with a good head for numbers is imperative. Strong ERP experience , MS Dynamics Business preferable. Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills. Excellent computer literacy in Excel, Word, and e-mail. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Experience with company restructuring would be an advantage.   The Role:  Daily reporting for back office support services such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, VAT, payroll etc. Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness – a key eye for detail and a desire to probe further into data. Ability to produce business plans and predict future financial trends. Reviewing accounts system and recommending/implementing improvements and controls. Prepare month end on time including its reporting pack and results. Prepare or review or sign off on all balance sheet account reconciliations. Prepare and produce analysing reports which compare current performance with previous months/years. Ensuring each business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations including statutory accounting and tax issues. Developing and maintaining relationship with external auditor and ensure team follows company polices and regulations. Operate and maintain an efficient and effective financial control function and manage cash flow. Reviewing and implementing cost control systems and procedures.
