Calling Social Care Managers interested in Day Services. Are you a Senior Social Care Worker with experience working with people with intellectual disability who's ready to take up a Day Service Manager role. If you are Action orientated, Dedicated, Motivated and Experienced in Leading and Coordinating with strong HIQA experience then I want to hear from you. We currently have a Permanent Full time Social Care Programme Coordinator position available in County Tipperary. The working hours are day time hours, Monday -Friday. General Job Description: A programme coordinator is required to fill this full-time post. To fill this post, you will need a strong management and leadership background, experience of working with people with intellectual disability offering person centred support. You will require a sound understanding of regulatory requirements; have skills to lead the safe support to residents within a complex residential environment. You will have strong business skills and be qualified in social care. You will need to be committed to personal development and working as part of a team. The role is a leadership, development team, management, and support role. The primary focus of the role will be enabling team members to support individuals who avail of support services. The core function of the role will be to enable people supported to live meaningful lives within their community, a central aspect of which will be supporting each person to discover their personal gifts, assets and strengths and to explore how these build into a meaningful personal vision with ambitious goals and appropriate supports to pursue same. A key element of the support will be working with people to develop a network of supportive relationships which connect with and support their personal vison and its goals. This network may include personal (family, friends) community social networks, formal learning and personal development providers in the wider community, job support for work and career development. Reporting : The Person in Charge/Social Care Manager who holds responsibility for regulatory compliance and quality service delivery across all houses. Essential Requirements: Degree / post graduate qualification ideally in Social Care Management or Social Care or Management Qualification. At least 3 years of management experience in the social care sector. Experience and/or qualification in Adult education/ community development/ Creative Arts;/Advocacy. Benefits.
