We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with a food / beverage industry background to join our Client based in Co. Tipperary. Responsibilities: Leadership in developing and executing the site quality strategy and development of the quality culture in the site. Accreditation of all required Quality and Food Safety standards i.e. maintain the site in a state of inspection readiness, prepare and successfully host customer, regulatory and certification audits. Run scheduled and unannounced audits. Track / Report compliance to the output of audits. Manage the approval of new vendors and the validation of all new systems, processes and procedures. Drive the performance of a highly skilled, professional QA team in the delivery of team KPIs including in-process testing, Customer Management, Complaint Investigation and responses. Requirements: Degree/Masters in Food Science/Quality or a related discipline. Evidence of continuing professional development. At least 10 years of professional experience and a minimum of 5 within the food / drink industry. Awareness of the requirements of the best practice Food Safety Standards, FSC 22000, BRC and FEMAS.
