Our client, based in Tipperary, requires an Assistant Quality Manager for their food processing facility. You will be joining an established and well run food production facility where the quality department is taken seriously and well respected. The department is staffed with experience quality professionals. This is a Monday to Friday quality job, and flexi time is offered if you have childcare/school drop off requirements. This role will have a strong focus on the creation, maintenance and implementation of data management including quality systems, specifications, framework and policies. There will be a strong focus on auditing and system review. You will help ensure the quality processes are robust and appropriate for both pre-production and production. Do you have a Food Science or similar degree qualification? Do you have 3 years quality assurance experience gained in the food industry? Are you ready to step up into a supervisory position or do you have some people supervisory experience? You will be a stickler for detail and organisation and document control. You will be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) and you will be able to train/mentor operators and you will be able to use your initiative to get things done right first time.
