A leading manufacturing company based in Tipperary are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. Working closely with the site Managing Director, Purchasing and Sales you will manage and oversee customer service relationships for the business to include forecast/demand review and customer service communication externally allied to internal planning and mapping requirements. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team and gain exposure with key clients. The Role. As theSupply Chain Manager (Planning)you will: Lead the Customer Service and Planning teams Agree planning short/medium term proposals as required by the Customer. Communicate with Customers on forecast models Meet with Customers on an agreed basis to review OTIF measurements. Regularly review all account activities with the Commercial Team to review demand and promotional activities. Ensure an accurate forecasting model is in place with an ongoing review. Work with the Sales team on new product / customer introduction. Manage inventory reporting and interface on excess inventory, stock taking and reconciliation. Develop procedures for all relevant processes and ensure adherence. Manage and Support Customer Service leads on order and Supply Management. Produce regular status / communication reporting. Ensure all KPI’s are met and are accurate. Propose and investigate cost saving initiatives. The Person. A third level qualification in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior role in a manufacturing / planning environment. Strong leadership and project management skill set must be demonstrated. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability in building and managing customer relationships. Strong planning, analytical and organisational skills.
