EHS Group Leader

An EHS Group Leader is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Tipperary based manufacturing client. This is an opportunity for a dynamic leader to join a dynamic multinational. THE ROLE: * Lead EHS team to design, develop and implement site Environmental, Health and Safety Programs. * Provide direction and actively support staff to maximise results through an efficient use of budgeted resources. * Provide overall leadership, strategy development and EHS compliance assurance with respect to: * Generating an EHS culture of compliance. * Development and implementation of Management systems. * Leadership in development of EHS plans. * Negotiation of compliance issues with regulatory agencies. * EHS investigations. * Continuous improvement. * Manage EHS training process and programs, disciplinary action and reviews as appropriate. * Staffing plan and co-ordination with HR. * Interaction with customers internal and external. * Development and monitoring of area budgets through regular analysis of cost and spending. * Identifies and develops processes to improve department performance. REQUIREMENTS: * NFQ level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline. * 6 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
