What you need to know. You will work as a Health & Safety Officer for our client, a highly successful and well-established food manufacturing company in Munster. As the Health & Safety Officer , you will be responsible for ensuring a safe workplace environment without risk to health. You will ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Identify potential hazards and undertake risk assessments on site. Determine procedures of reducing risks. Provide health and safety training courses. Assist in the implementation of operational procedures and writing internal health and safety policies/strategies. Inspecting sites to ensure that health and safety measures are met and maintained. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation. Report preparations. What are we looking for? 3rd Level Qualification in Health & Safety. At least 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/food production environment. Trained manual handling instruction is advantageous. Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
