My client is a global leader in online credit and debit card payments and are currently recruiting for their R&D centre based in Munster. As a DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines that build the future development, staging, and production environments. As a member of our DevOps function, you will collaborate closely with our engineering and data science teams to deploy automation tools that drive organizational feedback, continuous improvement and product delivery excellence. Qualifications. Minimum higher level diploma in Computer Science or related discipline. Requirements. 1+ years practical experience in a relevant field. Solid industrial experience with virtualization or cloud infrastructure. Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages such as bash, PowerShell, C#, Java, Python, or ++. Familiar with agile development methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban. Familiar with modern web technologies including RESTful APIs. Familiar with database concepts (SQL or NoSQL. Ability to work well within a team. Proven track record of overcoming obstacles and blockers in your day to day role. Excellent communication ability. English speaking. Desirable. Application deployment experience to cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. Familiar with Infrastructure as Code concepts. Experience with source code control systems, branching and merging, automated testing frameworks, automated build tools, and automated deployment frameworks.
