A well-known Irish producer and distributor of consumer products are seeking to hire a Senior Engineering Manager to join their site leadership team taking responsibility for all operational engineering processes on-site. You will be based at the company's HQ in Clonmel, Tipperary which is one of two production sites within the UK & Ireland. The Position: You will report into the General Manager and lead a team of six direct report within the Engineering function. Define and track performance metrics and KPI's across the department to include engineering activities such as machine up-time. Monitor the delivery of an effective maintenance program to include a heavy emphasis on PM works to reduce down-time within manufacturing across all assets. Co-ordinate the capex budget for the department on an annual basis. Manage supplier relationship and facilitate the engagement of contractors as required during busy periods. Facilitate employee review meetings recommending coaching and training plans as required to ensure the development of staff and input into succession planning. The Person: All applicants must hold a third level degree in a technical discipline. Proven ability to deliver complex engineering projects within a live environment. You will have at least 8 years working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Have a passion for what you do and take pride in your work. The Benefits: Salary €65,000 - €70,000.
