A global leader in the payments industry are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join them in their new R&D centre in the South West.You'll join their growing team and play a key role in creating products that shape the next generation in digital experience. The key responsibility of this role is to ensure that the user experience for individuals using their applications is as efficient as possible and makes sense to all of their users, some of whom will be from non-technical backgrounds. If you are passionate, creative and always striving to deliver the best possible user experience, this could be the role for you. You will: Bring a user centred design approach to everything you do. Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to prepare and deliver user research, interaction design, wire framing and prototyping. Distil complex problems/workflows into simple and elegant user experiences. Ensure that UX is fully embedded in the Agile development process. Work collaboratively in an Agile team environment to champion the needs of the end user. Maintain a consistent user experience across all applications and UI frameworks. Implement robust, contemporary design practices and methodologies are implemented. Conduct user research and develop personas and wireframes. Contribute to the requirements- definition process. Furnish Agile teams with finalised design assets and contribute to a design library with reusable design assets. Gather and analyse current and future market trends in the design space. Be a voice within the company championing the importance of user experience and user-centred design methodologies, and how they can benefit every area of the business. Knowledge & Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, preferably in a software development environment. Experience in end-to-end design from ideation through to execution. Extensive experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes and design assets using standard design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Azure, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, Omnigraffle. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A well-defined visual design taste and a strong eye for detail. A love for distilling complex problems into simple experiences. Ability to deliver a high-quality product on time, working in a fast-paced Agile environment. Experience designing for multiple platforms and screen sizes, using Sketch paired with InVision or, whatever software you are comfortable with. A passion for UX knowledge and process; you love all things mobile, social, and innovative. Continuous improvement mind-set.
