Our client, a well established FDA regulated Manufacturing company based in Waterford is looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST to join their team. This is a rapidly expanding company with excellent opportunities to progress within. The role involves: Providing support to the supply chain function from an administration perspective. Liaising with external customers concerning forecasting. Customer and supplier management including complaints. Participate in negotiations with vendors regarding prices in line with cost saving initiatives. Processing sales orders on SAP. Processing requisition for raw materials and converting to purchase orders in line with agreed delivery dates with suppliers. Responsible for the management the service level agreements regarding customers orders ensure timely delivery while ensuring GMP requirement compliance. Reporting key metrics to head of operations. Artwork management and approvals including dealing with suppliers, design house and vendors. The ideal candidate should have: Third level qualification or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 3 years experience working in a regulated environment. Excellent Communication skills, both verbal & written. Vast Knowledge of Planning / Purchasing in SAP ERP system. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft products including, Excel, Word & Powerpoint. Time management & ability to multitask. Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail. Working effectively with team and on own initiative. Safety Awareness.
