The successful candidate will have experience with maximising company sales revenue within the tourism market with a proven track record of success in creating, developing and managing relationships with clients and influencers. Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Generate new business leads, manage and continuously grow partnerships with business partners, travel trade, tour operators, ground handlers, media, customers and vendors. Provide input into business operations which include publications production, website and e-zine management, social media, consumer and trade show attendance. Manage and develop client relationships and satisfaction to ensure client retention and maximization of revenues. Submit regular progress reports and feedback to management with a view to influencing strategic management and direction. Achieve performance goals and KPIs that real and tied to overall company strategy and goals. Maximise sales revenue by securing new and renewal business and through on-going management of client relationships. Represent the company at all time in the marketplace by presenting a professional and positive image of the organisation. Achieve and exceed sales targets for new and existing clients and drive firm growth through new business development. Skills required: Knowledge of the market, industry updates, emerging trends, product development, customer needs and available products and services. Some previous advertising sales and/or B2B sales experience an advantage. Ability to conduct professional presentations and meetings. Knowledge of social media. Highly organized, detail focused with strong planning and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they move along at the required pace. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. The position is office based with on average one day travel required to meet existing clients and new prospects. The role will also require travel within Ireland and on occasion overseas to attend promotional and networking events on behalf of the company.
