Be part of something great. Your Job Purpose. Working with the LotusWorks team as a Chemical Process Engineer, you will be supporting site Capital & Expense projects. Reporting to the Site Projects Lead, you will be responsible for a number of site projects. Responsibilities. The Chemical Engineer`s primary responsibilities will be to have ownership of manufacturing process equipment and supply product processes. Will lead process and equipment optimization in order to sustain and improve product quality, yields and throughput. Recommends and implements measures to improve production systems, equipment performance, yields and quality of product. Will interface with Process Development and Commercialization Group to integrate new products into the facility either as new process development entities or as product transfer from another manufacturing facility. Supports migration of process knowledge for product technical transfers from facility. Requirements. 3rd level degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical. 5 years of experience working in Pharm/Bio Pharm industry with experience in maintenance, engineering and project management practices. Good knowledge of working in ATEX environment. Recommend, justify, plan, initiate and install projects or process improvements aimed at improving plant performance. Promote the generation of new ideas of equipment modification, analytical requirements and data handling. Understands the typical project life cycle from concept through to qualification and has proven experience in this area. Familiar with engineering project management tools, financial management skills including an ability to work within budgets, and engineering technical skills. Proven knowledge, appreciation and experience of working in strongly regulated GMP environment. Benefits. Life Assurance. Pension Contribution.
