Our client, a Co.Tipperary based Manufacturing company currently have a vacancy for a Technical Systems Co-ordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportuinty to join a growing team. The Role: Complete and maintain customer specifications and artwork on external customer specification systems. Complete and maintain internal finished production specifications for factory floor. Generate and maintain recipes received from NPD on to recipe system. Supplier approval for ingredients and packaging. Raw material and packaging specification management. Answer customer queries pertaining to specifications and raw materials. Presentations to customer / auditors. Develop an in-depth knowledge of all manufacturing processes. Complete customer/ finished product specifications to a high standard with a right first-time policy. Complete internal recipe on system to a high standard with a right first-time policy. Sign off artwork for packaging of new lines ensuring adherence to all relevant labelling legislation. Maintain and manage Supplier Approval system and present same to customers and auditors. Maintain and manage raw material and packaging specification system and present same to customers and auditors. Control raw material parameters and manage product specifications. Customer complaints – review customer complaints / queries pertaining to specifications / raw materials with the relevant teams. The Person: Degree in Food Science preferable. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Use own initiative/ quick learner. Ability to multi-task. Must be able to work on several projects at one time. With the help of the Technical manager and NPD team should be able to priorities work. Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferably in a development/ technical role. Commercial awareness. Process knowledge.
